Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy
1. General Policy
At Vaarahi Silks, each saree is handpicked, handwoven, and packed with great care to preserve its heritage and craftsmanship.
As our sarees belong to the luxury handcrafted segment, and due to the delicate nature of the fabrics and limited editions, we offer returns and exchanges only under specific conditions outlined below.
2. Return & Exchange Eligibility
We accept returns or exchanges only under the following circumstances:
- Product is damaged or defective upon delivery
- Wrong product delivered
- You must raise a return request within 48 hours of receiving the order
- Provide unboxing video and photos for damaged/wrong items
- Product must be unused, unwashed, with original packaging and tags intact
We reserve the right to reject the return if tampering, usage, or damage is found.
3. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
- Customized sarees (blouse stitching, fall & pico, etc.)
- Made-to-order sarees
- Slight color variations due to screen lighting are not considered defects
4. Return Process (For Eligible Orders)
1. Contact us at support@vaarahisilks.com within 48 hours
2. Mention Order ID, reason, and include photos/videos
3. Upon approval, reverse pickup or manual return instructions will be shared
4. After inspection, refund/exchange is processed within 5–7 business days
5. Refunds
- Prepaid: Refunded to original payment method
- COD: Refunded via store credit or bank transfer
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the fault is ours
6. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 6 hours if not processed/shipped
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled once tailoring begins
7. International Orders
- Only damaged/wrong product returns are accepted
- Return courier charges borne by customer unless fault is ours
- Refunds processed in INR or original currency per gateway policy
